Rules: Behavior

Our members are expected above all to behave with taste and decorum. Members should treat  one other, and everyone else, with respect and civility, in all situations. Members found to be insulting and poorly behaved will be admonished, and if necessary, removed from the guild.

As a member of Mulawin, everything you do affects the guild's reputation. Guild members should behave with kindness and consideration towards other people on the server. If you are publically causing a problem in a general chat in any zone, game forums, or any other situation, you are causing a problem for the guild, as well, and that will be dealt with.

The following will not be tolerated in the Guild

Promoting Racial / Ethnic Hatred

Real-life threats - Refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game world

Gossiping, Whining and Backstabbing - If you have an issue with a guildmate, it is suggested  that you talk directly to the guildmate.  If that does not resolve the situation, bring the guildmate and yourself to a class leader to discuss your issues.  If your issues are still  not resolved, bring the guildmate, yourself and your class leader to the GM.

Deliberately insulting, defamatory and harassing, rude or uncouth words on the Guild Chat.

Members attempting to 'start something' with another guild, will quickly find themselves guildless. Do not ever start a fight with them.

Spamming for Trade and Advertising - The guild chat is not the trade channel. If you frequently spam it trying to sell items to guild members, we will not be pleased. But an occasional item is acceptable. You may wish to check who is online to determine whether it's worth bothering the guild over something no one online would be at all interested in. As a whole, though, we'd prefer you not try to sell in guild chat. We get enough spam elsewhere.

Punishment - Removal of the Guild

On occasion, a member will warrant removal from the guild, either from ongoing behaviour problems, or single actions of sufficient magnitude. Removal may be discussed among the officers, but ultimately decided upon and executed by the leader of the guild. If you have been removed from the guild, the likelihood of your return is slim-to-nil. We expect you to accept this decision a one which will never be made without due consideration, and go with dignity and grace.

Things can be flexible, and nothing is entirely black and white. As a whole,  Mulawin is a laid back, casual guild of friendly people, free of drama and petty despotism. We joke around, and have a good time, and encourage you to do the same. The leaders have no interest in ruling with an iron fist, and the officers are not the gestapo. What these rules basically come down to are this: Don't make things unpleasant for us; dont make things unpleasant for other people while you have our guild tag under your name. If you stick to that, things should be ok.

Any rules suggestions or corrections are welcome :]
